Gears & Grinds: A Biweekly Celebration of Cars, Community, and Culture

If you're an auto enthusiast—or just someone who appreciates a good Sunday morning gathering—Gears & Grinds is the event you need to check out. Held every first and third Sunday of the month at Baguette Café in southwest Las Vegas, Gears & Grinds has become a staple in the Las Vegas auto culture scene. And trust, it’s more than just a car show—it’s a full-on community experience where Social Exchange is proud to have its flag flying high.

The first Gears & Grinds of the year was truly epic! Picture this: Over 600 cars ranging from daily-driven street machines to exotic showpieces. Nearly 1,000 enthusiasts of all ages. Engines humming in small pockets of the event footprint. The chatter of passionate owners and attendees sipping coffee while enjoying a morning stroll in a massive parking lot sprawling with standout automobiles.

2025 will mark the 8th year since Gears & Grinds first revved up its engines, and there’s no sign of slowing down. The event creates an electric atmosphere that keeps people coming back month after month, now regularly drawing upwards of 300 cars and an ever-growing crowd. Be it you’re there to show off (or drool over) an impressive vehicle or dive into conversations surrounding custom builds and fond car memories, there's something for everyone to connect on.

Bigger and Full of Surprises!

The vibes are always on point, but Choice Sound popped up a tent with some tunes and Cinloco set up a permanent jewelry station for anyone who wants to get a little bling on while they browse. Something popped out in almost every aisle! For instance, the unveiling of the KTM street-legal supercar was a showstopper, drawing spectators who couldn’t get enough of this high-performance machine. And let’s not forget the ever-popular Hot Wheels swap meet, which also grew in size this year, offering a chance to find rare gems and add to collections. The organizer and Godfather of Las Vegas automotive culture, Tyler Gallo, mentioned plans for even more reveals while humbly acknowledging the exponential growth over the past two years with participation and turnout.

Partnerships That Keep the Engine Running

The community aspect of Gears & Grinds is what makes it truly unique. The auto show has some solid partnerships with local businesses that make each event special. Gaudin Ford, this year’s official sponsor, has been a constant supporter, bringing in a couple Ford models for everyone to check out. Vendors and sponsors, including Daily Driven Supply Co., The Agency, MPowered Paint & Body, and Power Factory are also coming out to engage with hundreds of attendees.

More Than Just Cars

Gears & Grinds isn’t just about admiring cars (though we’d be lying if we said that wasn’t a huge part of the fun). It’s a chance to connect with fellow car lovers, enjoy a great brew, and maybe even make some lifelong friends. There’s no shortage of exciting vehicles to explore and interesting people to meet. And this year, Paddock Auto Club is rolling out a post-event brunch every 3rd Sunday where folks can hang out, grab a bite and continue connecting long after the engines have cooled off.

Mark your calendars for the first and third Sunday of each month, and roll through!
